What is "Domain Level Integration?"
[Available on the Custom Plan] Good question, here's the scoop. Domain Level Integration is only available for custom sites where the MLS search functions and search results not only LOOK like they are on the same site, they actually ARE on the same domain. This high-performance features is available for most websites that can run PHP. With Domain Level Integration, if your site is mysite.com, your IDX listings can be searched at mysite.com/idx/basicSearch.php.
Domain Level Integration is important for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), because you want the search engines to index all that real estate content in your MLS on your site, right? With Domain Level Integration, they can do that, and your website rankings will be better because of it.
What is "Design Level Integration?"
[Available on the Universal Plan] Design Level Integration is where the MLS search functions and search results appear to be on the same site because they share the same HTML design. They match identically. In actuality, because you don't have a custom website that can host the IDX data at the domain level, the listings reside on a different domain (username.idxco.com), and we just make it completely seamless so no one notices. This option is not as good for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), but is less expensive than Domain Level Integration, and still is a great system for lead generation and syndication of your listings.
$750 seems like a lot. What is included in that?
A lot. First, I'll spend up to an hour on the phone with you to help you understand MLS/IDX website marketing strategies and Search Engine Opportunities that exist for capturing leads. There is a good deal of setup involved in configuring and testing the Custom Integration, and the benefit is a much more powerful marketing platform.
Getting MLS listings on your domain is the holy grail of SEO for real estate webmasters. We do it without expensive dedicated servers (upwards of $99/mo.), and have developed very effective but proprietary scripting to put it all together. In short, you're getting a highly advanced SEO system for your custom MLS website that can easily pay for itself with increased lead flow.
My MLS gives me an IDX link for free. Why shouldn't I use that?
Standard-issue IDX links from your MLS are a waste of time for lead generation and search engine optimization. They are vastly inferior systems in terms of features, user-friendliness, buyer stickiness, lead capture, etc. Yes, the MLS can be searched, but what good does that do if (a) no one finds it on the search engines, and (b) no one uses it if they do stumble upon it?
We higly recommend upgrading out of the "Free IDX" zone if you want to grow your online business.
Do you cover my MLS?
Chances are good that we cover your MLS already, and if we don't, we should be able to set up the IDX agreements with them within 7 to 10 business days. If it turns out that we can't cover your MLS, we will issue a full refund, of course.
Note: We do not cover the Canadian MLS at this time.
Can I purchase the Universal plan if I have a custom website
Yes, the Univeral plan is compatible with ANY website. However, if you are fortunate enough to have a custom site, the Custom plan is a great value, and pays for itself with your first sale generated from your site. The Custom plan will help your site rank better on the search engines, thus bringing in more traffic and leads.
Can I upgrade to the Custom plan later?
Absolutely. You may upgrade anytime to the Custom Search Engine Optimized features for a cost of $595.
